![]() The Mobility Roadshow is returning in 2015 (25-27 June, Donington Park, Derby) to provide the most comprehensive lifestyle event of its kind in the UK, presenting mobility solutions for a wider range of consumers with restricted mobility to help achieve greater independence. The Mobility Roadshow is the UK’s premier consumer-focused event, showcasing products and services to help maintain independent mobility. This unique national show, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2013, is organised by registered charity Mobility Choice. For 2015 the Mobility Roadshow returns to Donington Park where visitors will have the rare opportunity to test drive adapted and wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) on the historic Donington Circuit, as well as experience the very latest innovations for independence. There is no other event that can offer such a range of vehicles for test-driving or products and services to see and compare – a unique opportunity unequalled in the mobility exhibition calendar. The 2015 Mobility Roadshow will be different. Its refreshed format will be dynamic, engaging and include features for a wider audience. It will deliver invaluable benefits to all visitors ranging from children to mature individuals who are looking to enhance their freedom, with hands-on product demonstrations and exclusive show features. Restricted mobility affects millions of people across the UK in different ways. Hence the opportunity to experience and compare wide-ranging independent living solutions all in one location is vital. The Roadshow provides a larger, more diverse showcase than other regional shows. Not an ‘exhibition’ but an ‘event’, the 2015 Roadshow will also incorporate Get Going Live! – a sister event also organised by Mobility Choice that focuses on young and novice disabled drivers. This lively and exciting feature will open up a new world of driving opportunities for future generations. The Mobility Roadshow 2015, as always free to visit, will be a ‘must-attend’ event for: · Drivers, passengers and non-drivers that live with disability or restricted mobility · Young and novice drivers with disabilities seeking independence · Middle-aged to mature individuals requiring assistance for ‘comfortable driving’ or ‘easier living’ · More mature people requiring help indoors, outside, or when travelling as a vehicle passenger · Families/parents with disabled children or elderly relatives Ann Frye, Chair of Mobility Choice, comments: “In partnership with the NFE Group, the Mobility Choice team and I are fully committed to delivering a Mobility Roadshow that surpasses all others. Our 2015 event will remain true to our singular ethos since the show’s inception over 30 years ago – to provide the largest and best consumer- focused mobility show.” Sign Up to be in with a chance to win an iPad #MobilityRoadshow - See more at: http://www.bespoken.me/profiles/blogs/mobility-roadshow-2015-more-innovations-for-consumer-independence#sthash.HmTQ8Oq6.dpuf Tim Ross, TGA National Sales Manager, explains why assessment of personal needs and driver training is essential when purchasing a mobility scooter.
