TGA, the leading local specialist for quality mobility scooters and independent living products, will be hosting its latest free safe driving awareness day on Thursday 27th July. 11am – 3pm. Woodhall Business Park, Sudbury, Suffolk. CO10 1WH.
This fun event will give mobility scooter users and prospective owners the opportunity to learn the latest safe driving tips around the TGA test track – with the help of friendly experts. This will be an informal and relaxed driving experience which will give scooter owners a better understanding of their own capabilities in terms of steering, reversing and negotiating day-to-day obstacles. Crossing roads in a safe manner and understanding aspects of the Highway Code will be explained so scooter users, drivers and pedestrians can all benefit from improved safety. This is not a driving test with a pass or fail score, it is simply an awareness programme that offers an informal certificate of completion at the end. Visitors can bring their own scooter for a free health check or test drive any model in TGA’s comprehensive range. The charities Parkinson’s UK, MS Society and Macmillan will be supporting the event along with the Police and Rehab United. There will be a charity cake sale and an unmissable 25% off all showroom scooters, adjustable chairs and wheelchairs. Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director, says: “We welcome all existing and potential mobility scooter users from across East Anglia to come to our safe driving day. It will help everyone gain confidence and discover how to enjoy independence with maximum safety and peace of mind.”
